July 1993, a couple weeks before the great flood. Business was great, our reputation growing.

 |
1993 brought the great flood and bittersweet moments for Annie Gunn's and the Smokehouse Market. Faced with both his beloved Annie Gunn's and the Smokehouse Market totally destroyed, owner Thom Sehnert was determined to rebuild and take both businesses to a new level of quality, service and value. Chef Rook was already a good friend and a great customer at Annie Gunn's. A call was made in August of 1993, and as they say, the rest is history.
